Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani is on the rise through his untitled 3rd album. Ky-mani was born in Falmouth, Jamaica, to Robert Nesta Marley, a legend as well as Jamaican champion at table tennis, Anita Belnavis. Ky-mani is an East African term meaning adventurous traveler. As someone who lives true to his name every album, or trip has been an adventure. His journey into music began in 1999 with The Journey. He was an eclectic musician that was looking for his own musical niche. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae album , was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. Many More Roads, as and The Journey was well-received across the globe and established Ky-Mani in her position as an independently-minded "artist". Ky-Mani's music is a blend of roots reggae overlaid and hip-hop R&B in addition to contemporary jazz.
